Dental implant
Dental implant is the perfect and permanent option to replace missing teeth and is considered the most successful method because it does not affect the teeth and the surrounding tissues in any way, and it improves the aesthetic appearance of the mouth and the smile.
Dental implants are made of titanium and are implanted easily, simply and painlessly to become part of the jawbones and thus replace the aesthetic and functionality of the missing tooth.
Dental implants have a very high success rate about 100%, and are implemented under local anesthesia.
Among the things that increase the success of dental implants:
- The patient should be in good health and not suffer from any general diseases that interfere with dental implants.
- There should be an appropriate amount of bone through which the surgeon can implement the implants.
There are several models for using dental implants, where the surgeon can place one dental implant to replace one missing tooth, and two implants to replace several missing teeth in the form of a bridge between them. In some cases, with patients who do not have any teeth, full teeth can be replaced by 4-6 implants per jaw.
Dental implants stages:
- First stage: The appropriate place for the implant is prepared within the jaw bone, and then the missing teeth are replaced by titanium dental implants based on the dentist diagnosis.
- Second stage: is bone fusion stage in which the implant is fused with the jawbones.
- Third stage: the final replacement is placed over the dental implant with an aesthetic concern.

Roots canal treatment
- Do you feel any pain in your teeth when drinking cold water or hot liquids? Does it last for a long time?
- Do you feel severe pain that wake you up at night?
- Do you feel pain while chewing food, especially hard foods?
- Do you feel a pulse within the tooth?
- Do you feel unpleasant taste inside the mouth sometimes?
- Do you feel any swelling of the gum next to a tooth?
If your answer to one of the previous questions is yes, it is likely that root canal (nerves) of one of your teeth needs to be treated.
The tooth consists of 3 layers, which are enamel, ivory and pulp. The pulp consists of nerves and blood vessels feeding the tooth.
Decay begins on the surfaces of the tooth with an enamel layer and gradually expands towards the pulp and here the patient’s teeth begins to be sensitive when drinking cold water or hot liquids and sometimes when eating sweets, and with continue of decay towards the pulp, the pain increases and here the patient needs roots canal treatment (pulp).
Roots canal treatment is a simple and painless process that takes place under local anesthesia in one session. It is preferable to protect endodontically treated teeth from deterioration by placing porcelain crowns that improve the appearance at the same time.

GUM SURGERY
Gingivitis and periodontal diseases are the main causes of tooth loss, they also increase the risk rate with heart patients and interfere with many general diseases in the body.
Brushing the teeth and using dental floss are the most important factors in dental oral care, and monitoring the gums is an important factor in maintaining its health.
The dentist should be checked immediately if any of the following changes are observed:
- Sensitive, swollen and red gums.
- Undesirable mouth smell at times.
- Pain in the gums.
- Swelling gums.
- Decline and recede of the gums.
- Movement in the teeth.
- Bleeding gums while brushing teeth or using dental floss.
- Bleeding gums when waking up in the morning or when eating in advanced cases.
Removing calculus deposits around the teeth is the first procedure to treat gingivitis and periodontal tissue. In advanced cases, the dentist performs gingival scraping to remove deep deposits under local anesthesia to ensure that the case recovers completely and that the inflammation does not return again.
How can we care and maintain the gums:
- Teeth should be brushed twice daily for a period of no less than two minutes to ensure the best correct oral care.
- Using toothpastes and mouthwashes containing fluorine (prevents tooth decay).
- Using the dental floss because not using it keeps 40% of the tooth surfaces unclean.
- Review the gingival clinic every 6 months to remove calcareous deposits and ensure the health of the gums and teeth.
